Northbound on 3rd Avenue just north of 3rd Street, Minnesota license 758 XLP was parked in the bike lane. I spoke briefly with the driver, who moved.

The Situation at rick's

The 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street bike lanes were built to protect cyclists. Instead, they serve as a parking lot for the valet service at Rick's Cabaret and the hustle economy cars that drop off patrons.

Further, the doormen at Rick's foster a culture of violent homophobia that has resulted in the assault of at least one Twin Cities cyclist and member of the queer community.

Please let Council Member Steve Fletcher know how you feel about the dangers caused by Rick's Cabaret.
